My Experience

  • Early Days: Started attending Java conferences and networking events at the beginning of my career. Initially, I stuck with friends and didn’t mingle much — a common phase for many.
  • Evolution: Overcame the initial hesitation and imposter syndrome, especially prominent at events filled with experienced engineers.

Breaking The Ice 🧊

I like to call it `breaking the ice` as it’s a phase where you feel an amazing amount of imposter syndrome, especially if you’re attending an event with many experienced engineers.

  • Challenge: The daunting feeling of being an imposter among seasoned professionals.
  • Overcoming Fear: Stepping out of my comfort zone was crucial. Inspired by many successful individuals like Alex Hormozi, I learned there’s no magic formula to it.
